Camp Como
What is Camp Como?
Camp Como began in 1964 soon after the Colorado Christian Service Camp was established and acquired the Rocking R Ranch here in Como, Colorado. Since the early days of the Camp the Christian Churches of the Front Range and across the Midwest have made this beautiful property a place for solitude, adventure, and ministry to youth and adults alike.
Camp has been blessed with an amazing piece of property with gorgeous views of the Rocky Mountains. Camp sits on 160 acres backed up against Little Baldy and Mt. Silverheels, just east of Breckenridge. Camp is about 1 hour southwest of the Denver Metro and 1.5 hours west of Colorado Springs.
Camp facilities include rustic cabins with 175 beds, a large Dining Hall and commercial kitchen, a gym with indoor climbing wall, a massive playground, zip line, low ropes course, tons of forest, and our own private access to the National Forest and the Little Baldy trail.
What does Camp Como need from PPCC?
1. Prayer. We would love to have members of PPCC pray for us regularly.
2. Labor to remodel a cabin. We need volunteers to come up and do the work.
3. We want your youth to attend summer camp.
4. We need nurses and food service volunteers to help with various camps.
What does Camp Como offer PPCC families?
A unique mountain experience to draw closer to God and a place to volunteer and serve God
